Practice Policies
Appointments
Standard sessions are 45–50 minutes. If you’d like a different session length or cadence, we can discuss what’s clinically appropriate and feasible.
Fees & Payment
I offer a modified sliding scale; most session fees fall in the range of $90–$210. Fees are discussed and agreed upon during the initial phase of work and may change over time, but only with advance discussion.
Insurance is not accepted; though I can provide you a statement to apply for reimbursement from your insurance provider yourself.
Payment is best made by Zelle but can also be made by credit card, check, cash or PayPal. Payment can be made weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
Cancellations & Late Arrivals
Please cancel or reschedule with 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged the full session fee.
If you arrive late, the session typically still ends at the scheduled time. If you are more than 20 minutes late, the session will be considered cancelled for the day.
Communication, Email, and Text Messaging
You may contact me by phone, email, or text for scheduling, cancellations, or other administrative matters. Therapeutic content is best handled in session.
I do my best to respond in a timely manner, but I can’t guarantee immediate replies and may be away from my phone at times.
Emergency: If you are in crisis or an emergency arises, call 911 or 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or go to the nearest emergency room.
Text Messaging Terms (for scheduling/administrative use)
Texting is intended for scheduling and administrative communication only.
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply.
You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of texts.
You can reply HELP for help.
Social Media
To protect confidentiality and avoid dual relationships, I do not accept friend/follow/contact requests from current or former patients on social media.
Minors
If you are a minor, parents/guardians may have legal rights to certain information. When applicable, I will discuss confidentiality, parental access, and limits of privacy in advance, with attention to what is clinically appropriate and legally required.
Ending Therapy (Termination)
You may end therapy at any time. Because ending treatment can be meaningful and complex, I encourage discussing termination so we can close the work thoughtfully.
If there is no contact and no sessions for 30 days (unless otherwise discussed), I may consider the professional relationship concluded for legal and professional purposes.
Third-Party Services
This website may rely on service providers (e.g., website hosting, analytics) to operate. These providers may process limited data as needed to deliver their services.
